The Mayan civilization is famously known for its art, architecture, mathematical domain and the creation of the calendars and astronomical system. Discover the hidden secrets and mysteries in every corner of Chichen Itza and discover the intriguing Mayan culture as you stroll through the buildings of this pre-Hispanic city, declared a World Heritage Site. Accompanied by a local guide, you will discover so much more than you could ever imagine.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to visit the cenote Ik'Kil and swim in its refreshing waters before regaining your strength with a delicious buffet lunch that includes traditional specialties of the Yucatecan cuisine (Xcaret Plus package only).

Xcaret

Enjoy nature in its purest form at Xcaret. Visit a local wildlife conservation centre, Mayan ruins, a butterfly farm, an aviary and even an aquarium with hundreds of fish. The Xcaret park tour finishes with a fabulous show that takes you on a journey through the history of Mexico.

In Xcaret you will also find numerous underground rivers and caves that you can explore without being a professional! All you need is your adventurous spirit!

And if you want to admire the marine life without getting wet, you simply cannot not miss the Coral Reef Aquarium, which is home to over 500 coral reef structures and more than 5,000 plants and creatures in tanks that contain water pumped directly from the Caribbean Sea.
