Il programma nel dettaglio

The Florida Aquarium features more than 20,000 aquatic plants and marine animals from around the world. The Florida Aquarium opened in 1995 as a privately funded entity, became a public-private partnership in 1999, and is the largest aquarium in Florida. Exhibits are laid out to show the journey of a drop of water from one of Florida's fresh-water springs to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. Among the many attractions are large simulated wetlands under a glass atrium with free flying birds; three interactive touch pools including stingrays, bamboo sharks, and moon jellies; and Waves of Wonder that highlights the aquarium’s conservation efforts.

Experience the 1,900,000 litres floor-to-ceiling Coral Reef tank and see educational dive shows. Get the chance to meet an African penguin and learn about the endangered species. See impressive sharks, graceful sea turtles, enigmatic moray eels, wondrous sea horses, a Goliath grouper, colorful reef fish and more.

At the Journey to Madagascar exhibit, learn about this unique island where over 80% of animal and plant life is endemic; at The Florida Aquarium, there are ring-tailed lemurs, hissing cockroaches, and Madagascar Tortoises.

Kid´s will have a blast at the Splash Pad, a fun outdoor play area with both wet and dry zones. Why not let your little ones kids cool off as you relax under the shade of the adjacent bar and grill. Don´t forget to quench your thirst for knowledge at the 4-D Theatre featuring short 3-D films with fun sensory effects!
