Il programma nel dettaglio
Discover the wild side of the beautiful island of Lanzarote with this Jeep Safari tour, the easiest, safest and most exciting way to explore the island. Sit back while the experienced drivers take you to arid canyons, extinct volcanoes, villages that are off the beaten track and beautiful secluded beaches. Visit places that very few tourists ever see as you travel by jeep through stunning, rugged landscapes and see some of the island’s hidden gems.
Learn about the island’s geology as you drive down the bumpy and dusty tracks through the desolate black and red lava fields on the way to the summits of smoking volcanoes. Travel down to remote coastal settlements and beaches and admire the breath-taking views out to sea.
The meeting point is Macher where you will be introduced to your friendly and experienced driver. Your visit will include a trip to the village of Tahich- the birthplace of the local artist Cesar Manrique where you will be able to explore the surreal house he built inside a tunnel hollowed out by molten lava. You will pass through the historical capital of the island- Teguise before crossing the dramatic Famara mountains and the desert of El Jable. After the exhilarating drive around Tiimanfaya, the mountain of fire, you will head for the coast on the way passing through the remote settlements of Tinguaton and Femés. The route will take you off road and things can get a little bumpy, this is a ride for the brave-hearted!
