Detalles del programa

Over the centuries the art-loving members of the House of Habsburg collected and commissioned a wealth of magnificent artworks, amassing a rich – material and immaterial – heritage. The importance of this patrimony is reflected in the fact that it was housed in close vicinity to the Imperial Hofburg Palace.

This is where the Imperial Treasury Vienna is located. It houses unique objects of outstanding historical and religious importance such as the crown of the Holy Roman Empire or the crown of Emperor Rudolf II., later the Austrian Imperial crown. The adjacent Stallburg, Vienna‘s most prominent Renaissance building, was reserved for the magnificent Imperial horses. The traditions of this High School of Classical Horsemanship are continued to this day in the Baroque Winter Riding School built by Emperor Charles VI. Come and see the Emperor’s most precious treasures together. And you don’t even have to visit all museums on the same day!

The Spanish Riding School invites you to attend a morning exercise to see the training of the celebrated Lipizzaner stallions.
