Towering over Garmisch-Partenkirchen, we find the highest mountain in Germany: Zugspitze.
At a height of 2962 meters (9,718 ft), it is also known for its two glaciers, the Schneeferner and the Höllentalferner, its ski resort on the German side and for having a train that climbs the inside of the mountain through a tunnel carved in 1926.
Come with our guide to have the most spectacular view of the Alps available in Germany, all the way through Austria until Italy, if the weather allows it.
