On this private walking tour, you will discover the Red Light District, the oldest part of Amsterdam, with one of our English-speaking guides.

 As a first stop, we propose you get to know the famous shop windows of the Red Light District and discover the history of a tradition that was first established in the district in the 17th century. But here you must follow tradition and, although you can go at your own pace, cameras are not allowed (not even mobile phones).

Amsterdam's narrowest street

Walk down Trompettersteeg, the narrowest street in the city - it's only one meter wide! Although it's always crowded, you'll find a way to weave through the crowds and cross the street from one side to the other. Well, if you're the wide-backed type... Just let us know we're going the other way! 

Prostitution Information Centre

We'll find the time to stop and visit this emblematic neighbourhood establishment that opened 30 years ago. A non-profit organization that defends the rights of women workers, fights for their respect, and works to promote laws that protect them. We will have the opportunity to talk quietly about the history and social movements of the neighbourhood.

We suggest you end this private tour in the world's first specialized condom shop. It is a curious tour, to say the least, where we will discover some of the best-kept secrets (and funniest stories) of the wonderful and curious world of condom design. We will pick you up from your hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. In case your hotel is outside the city centre, the meeting point will be at I Amsterdam Visitor Centre (Stationsplein 10, opposite the Central Railway Station).
