Program details
At the agreed time we will meet at the meeting point to begin our excursion to the only Desert in Europe, the Tabernas Desert to enjoy a different day and discover walking that hides inside.
We meet our local guide and he will accompany you during the visit walking, during which we will send nature under our shoes and meet some of the most important places of Western cinema.
Our visit will start from the entrance of the Oasys park and walkers to the interior of this wonderful place until arriving, crossing some wooden walkways, one of the main boulevards near the small artificial oasys that was built for the filming of the movie "Lawrence of Arabia".
During our visit of approximately 2 hours and recording media plus locations where to record well-known recordings of the Western genre during the 60s as "Death had a price", "The Adventures of the young Indiana Jones", "How I won the war" of John Lennon, ... where you can compare the scenes of these films with today, our guide will allow you to obtain images during the tour.
After having enjoyed these great locations and having discovered stories and anecdotes, as well as the formation of this natural site we will go to the town of Tabernas to take a tour in the Interpretation Center of Terrera Ventura where we will immerse ourselves in a time travel and know the Desert evolution, its formation, as well as the remains that have been found from the first settlements of the town of Terrera Ventura. We will continue our visit until we climb to the top of the Tabernas Castle to have a panoramic view of the Sierras Filabres and Sierra Alhamilla and the great part of the Desert. About 4:30 p.m. we will return to Granada.
