Prepare to live an oenological experience in Santiago, Chile, one of the most recognized wine producing countries in the world. Come visit Cousiño Macul in the Maipo Valley, one of the most influential vineyards in the history of Chile and Vinolia, a complete wine experience that will show us another Chilean wine valley, which includes a lunch and tasting of Chilean wines.Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel located in downtown Santiago, Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura. We will travel to the Maipo Valley, at our first stop, which will be Cousiño Macul. Cousiño Macul in the Maipo Valley, one of the most influential vineyards in the history of Chile, not only founded one of the most transcendent vineyards, but also was part of the development of Chile. We will enjoy a trip to the east of Santiago, until we reach the Cousiño Macul vineyard, the oldest in Chile, with a 100-year tradition in winemaking processes. We will visit one of the oldest and most important basements in Chile, manufactured in 1872 six meters underground by French architects. The family's private wine collection is kept here with bottles until 1927. Meanwhile, the guide explains the production processes and the history of the vineyard, we will enjoy 6 wine tastings (including a Premium wine), tasting fine cheeses and nuts. The tasting is guided by a sommelier that will highlight the tastes of each tasting. To end this memorable experience, we will give you a glass of Cousiño Macul wine as a souvenir.
Then, we go to Vinolia, where we will enjoy a menu of Chilean food and then, a special wine tasting experience. After our delicious lunch, we will meet another Chilean wine valley here at the Vinolia cinema, this could be Casablanca or Colchagua, depending on your preference, where we will experience a wine tasting guided by the winery's main winemaker through of the movie. Get to know the process, the history and the most notable wines of the wineries, as well as snacks that you can combine with the tasting, creating a complete wine experience.
After knowing the history of Cousiño Macul and our experience with wine in Vinolia, we will return to your hotel where they picked you up.
