Program details
Explore the Hungarian Parliament Building and enjoy a guided tour of Budapest on this combined program. You’ll see the Parliament’s splendid session room, the impressive staircase, the 16-sided central hall, and the Hungarian crown jewels.
Afterwards you’ll head out to take in the sights of the city, crossing the Danube by the Margaret Bridge and up to the Royal Castle area on the Buda side. Take a short walk in the Castle district, and see the Fishermen’s Bastion and the exterior of the Matthias Church. Drive up the Gellért Hill for a photo stop and spectacular panoramic views of Budapest. From here you cross the Elizabeth Bridge en route to Andrássy Avenue and Heroes’ Square. You’ll pass by the Opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica before your tour ends.The Parliament reserves the right to cancel guided tours without notice on special occasions.
