Program details

Travel through the bucolic Moravian and Bohemian countrysides on your way to pristine Prague, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. Begin on a high with a guided tour of the capital. At Prague Castle, the largest ancient fortress in the world, wander the myriad palaces, churches, monasteries, halls, towers and gardens that mark out this Disney-like complex. Which is more beautiful? St Vitus’s Cathedral or St George’s Basilica? Prague Castle asks those kinds of questions of you.

Discover the city’s other sights during the rest of the guided tour. See the haunting Old Jewish Cemetery and enjoy panoramic views from Charles Bridge, possibly one of the most romantic spots in the city. It buzzes with the sound of musicians, artists and performers.

In your free time, you can take to the cobbled streets of the Old Town. Admire architectural gems from the Gothic spires of Our Lady of Tyn, through examples of modernism and historicism to the baroque beauty of St Nicholas Church. And you can’t miss the famous medieval astronomical clock on the Town Hall, with its Walk of the Apostles and the Grim Reaper striking the hour.
