When we think about Rome, one of the first things that come to mind is the Colosseum, the capital's most remarkable monument. This colossal structure holds almost 2000 years of history behind its walls, and will transport you back in time, to the time of the Roman Empire. For hundreds of years, this grand amphitheatre drew in the masses with public entertainment such as exhibitions of exotic animals, prisoner executions, battle recreations and gladiator fights!
Move on to the Roman Forum, the epi-centre of political and social activity of the Roman citizens, and was here where religious and public life in ancient Rome took place. The Forum, along with the Colosseum, the greatest sign of the splendour of the Roman Empire that can be seen today. Aside from its numerous temples, you can see the Arch of Titus and the Curia, which served as a meeting place for the Senate to make important decisions about Rome.
What's more, admire the Capitoline Hill and its unique views over the Roman Forum. If all of this isn't enough, you will enjoy photo stops at Rome’s big-name attractions such as Piazza Venezia, Largo di Torre Argentina, Pantheon and Piazza Navona where the tour will come to an end!
