Program details

Oedo Onsen Monogatari in Odaiba is a popular onsen (hot springs) theme park located in central Tokyo. Modeled on an Edo period onsen town, with indoor and outdoor pools of every kind, restaurants, shops, spa facilities, and themed amusements, Oedo Onsen introduces you to a new level of bathing culture! Once you have checked in and changed into your complimentary 'yukata', light kimono (included), you will have direct access to the bath area from the main hall. Separated by gender, you can choose from 13 different baths, including the 'rotenburo' (open-air baths), open-air barrel baths, silk baths, and much more.

The two main pools take their hot water directly from a natural hot spring 1,400 meters underground. The perfect way to rest and renew your body at the onsen is with the various therapeutic spa treatment offered. Treat yourself to a full-body massage, foot massage, head spa, or loosen up in the stone sauna. Round off your bathing experience at the foot bath area, designed in the style of a Japanese garden. The walkways are made from paved pebbles and designed to massage your feet as you walk.

Then make your way to one of the wooden benches, sit down with your family or friends and enjoy this one-of-a-kind hot spring resort. After a thorough soak (or at any time during your stay), you can not return to the main hall - decorated in a traditional summer festival theme - and grab some authentic Japanese street food from the food stalls. If you still have space left after trying the sushi, ramen, udon, or yakitori on offer, then the traditional Japanese restaurant 'Kawachou' is a good choice for a full meal. Savor a 'kaiseki' course meal in private tatami rooms, or choose from among the other restaurants at Oedo Onsen.

Besides bathing, pampering, eating and drinking, you can top off your visit with some souvenir shopping, and don't forget to enjoy the traditional Japanese festival games and amusements available in the main hall: fortune telling, quoits, blowgun darts, street performers and more! Get tickets and enjoy this unique experience in the heart of Tokyo, by yourself or with family or friends!
