Come and enter the world of Anne Frank: a Jewish girl growing up during the time of Nazi occupation. See her poignant words immortalised in her diary come to life on stage with a life- sized set that surrounds you 180 degrees; all perfectly blended with archive footage and emotive music. Anne Frank – Her Diary on Stage covers the two years Anne and her family spent in hiding in a secret annex as well as events leading up to and after that time. Experience Anne’s journey closer than ever before and get caught up in her deeply moving and personal story in the midst of terrible oppression.

It is also the first ever theatre performance based on all the versions of her diaries, including the uncensored accounts edited by Anne Frank herself. What’s more - you can choose the dinner option with your ticket that includes a two course meal (starter and main course) in the theatre’s restaurant before the show.

To make the play and her words accessible to everybody, the audience can use the Translation System in audio and/or subtitles on an iPad in front of your seat in seven languages, completely synchronised with the actors on stage.

This theatre performance was created at the initiative of the Anne Frank Foundation in Basel. Income from the Frank estate is redirected to fund educational and charitable purposes.
